the design of my jacket is straight, simple and modest as these are the aspects i had taken from my chose amish theme. however, i wanted to incorporate a more tailored and fitting look by adding more fit around the waist and reak fundemental amish rules of having pockets and buttons.
the feature that i feel really makes this jacket maintain it's amish theme is the upper back flap that will be sewn at the shoulder seams and then stitched at the waist, shaped inwardly along the sides to give curve, structure and more fit to a traditonal straight amish cut.
